Stephen Harper has called the escalating standoff between Iran and the West the greatest threat to world peace.
So intones my morning paper. And Mr. Harper has some inside info that he got personally and directly from Benyamin Netanyahu's speechwriters; not only are the evildoers actively pursuing a nuclear arsenal, but, hold on to your hat, they would be prepared to use it!
He doesn't go on to say what they would do with it. Wipe you-know-who off the map, presumably.
Harper hereby joins the extreme fringe of fear-mongering exemplified by the evangelical right in the GOP race. The unspoken conclusion is that, given this dire threat, it is incumbent upon the free world to take action.
NUKE THOSE TOWELHEADS NOW!!!
